1100 cottage cheese-3/4 cup, strawberries-1.5 cup
1130 approx. 12 peanut m&ms
1500 mango-1 cup, 5 pretzels
1900 honey smoked salmon, wheat thins-10, steamed veggies with cheese (these sucked)-1 cup
cheese and peperoni off a slice of pizza
total water: 124 oz.
I wanted my salt and pretzels were in my bag... must keep away from them though. haha! and the cheese and peperoni was not a great idea either but it killed my craving for the pizza that my family was having and wasn't as bad as actually eating the entire slice
The other thing was the peanut M&Ms it wasn't about self control or even about wanting the M&Ms. But a co-worker offered me some and I said "no, thank you." I wasn't craving them or wanting something sweet. She then opened her ziploc baggie and left it on the counter and said help yourself if you want some. about 15 minutes later I realized I was on my second handful of about 6 M&Ms. I didnt even want them. I wasn't craving them. If I wanted something yum like that I would have had snickers or It just goes to show how used to stuffing myself with whatever is in front of you without thinking.
Another thing that is hard for me is the throwing away of food. For example, what do I do with the pizza crust/bread? Even when I wasn't watching what I ate I never threw away the crust I would just eat it later. I forced myself to throw away the crust/bread part when I picked off the cheese and pepperonis. It was like throwing away my favorite book. And I don't even LIKE pizza. I had always been taught to recycle and reuse and above all--DON'T waste! Cans, water bottles, food waste=compost. I even don't buy green onions any more because I grow my own due to saving the ends of the last ones I bought so I wouldnt have to buy MORE. I don't know if this makes sense to anyone but seriously it is not fun throwing away half eaten food. :(
